RI is a fine organization; I have a wall filled with certificates from presentations made to their chapters, around the world. I'm an ex-officio member of their semi-independent "WASRAG" group, & work closely with them on Water & Sanitation issues. But getting together with them - let alone getting them together - & deciding on a "focus" area, is a lot like herding cats; their pecking order egos tend to trip all over themselves. I'm closely connected to a number of NGO's that have been funded/sponsored for certain projects by them; and will they were initially glad for the resources, their experiences - in virtually every case - have left them less than "happy campers". This doesn't intend to render your idea inoperable, but is just a cautionary word, in case your experience with them hasn't known that aspect.

Thanks for sharing this information. I think many current and returned Peace Corps volunteers aren't aware of the opportunity to collaborate with the Rotary Club. This will be helpful for other folks who submit ideas for this website too as they think about funding opportunities to pursue and develop.
