water pump are motors.We have D.C motors which can be used to make pump and they will easily be driven by solar power.We also have converter that convert solar power(D.C)to A.C and will drive most of these water pump.The issue here is to have strong solar panel and storage batteries and pumps which has low power consumption.Luckly we now have in market electronic water pump with less than 400watts power consumption
