BarCamp Diaspora '09 - "Investing Our Talent Where it Counts"
We had the privlege of attending BarCamp Diaspora '09 in D.C. on July 25th. If you haven't heard, BarCamp Diaspora is a gathering of members of the Ghanaian Diaspora, as well as other Africans and people interested in the development of Africa. Together we discussed major themes such as healthcare, gender issues, scientific research, and a range of other issues, including technology and agriculture-- two critical topics in the ARC community. If you want to learn more about the event and other similar BarCamp Africa events, check out this blog post on the BarCamp Africa site.
