Where Did My Endorsements Go?

Africa Rural Connect is launching its 2010 competition on March 15th. This is essentially a brand new competition, separate from that of 2009. There will be some key differences in the winner-selection process that will allow new entries as well as keep old entries in the 2010 competition. 

We want to give everyone a level playing field, all of you who have been with us since the pilot launch last summer, and the many new members of the ARC community who are just learning how to get involved. This is why we have reset all endorsements back to zero. However, this does not mean your old idea can not compete in this year’s competition. All posts, old and new, can be remixed, commented on, and endorsed. The only ideas that are excluded from winning in the 2010 competition are those that have won prizes in past rounds. Even those ideas can continue to receive feedback, comments, and remixes. Also, those who created an idea are welcome to remix it into something new and updated to enter into the new competition.  

That's right, a remixed idea with fresh information or insights can win a prize.

The primary purpose of Africa Rural Connect is to share your ideas, applicable skills, and knowledge in order to build the best ideas- so we encourage all of our community members to join in any part of the process, from posting ideas, to remixing and commenting on them, to endorsing them to show your support. Whatever you have to offer can make the difference between a simple idea and a more developed sustainable project plan.
