Solutions to Kickstart Development in Africa
Using Technology Solutions for Kick starting Africa as the next economic growth center of the world.
Dear Team,
TECHNOLOGY FOR KICK STARTING AFRICA AS THE NEXT ECONOMIC GROWTH CENTRE OF THE WORLD.
We see Africa as the next emerging area of development in the world, sad to say that instead of helping, major players are implementing measures that will stop growth and development in developing countries, Philanthropists give token help that is not sustained, so the long term benefits for Africa are never realised.
Only Africans standing together can overcome this sad state of affairs. Too much has been talked about it; only combined action from everyone involved can make the transition from poverty to riches and growth.
We are a group of technology specialists that have been working for the last four years developing low cost, practical solutions to develop Africa. We have the technologies that work, we now need people to work with us and get governments and International organisations to help and support.
Our philosophy is very simple; we will provide the knowledge, training and the materials needed to develop the fundamentals that can kick-start the development of Africa on a big scale.
Some of the solutions we have developed are listed below:
1) Light and Power for electric appliances
2) Safe drinking water
3) Low Cost wireless Internet to schools and community centres
4) Transport to get there
5) Get Tourists to come and visit and spend their currency in Africa.
Our technologies are provided in the form of simple parts and kits that can be easily assembled and installed by almost any African by following the basic instructions. We are setting up our base in Ghana from where the parts and kits will be made available.

FUEL SAVER SYSTEMS
Fuel Savers; Save up to 50% on petrol engines and 30% on Diesel. Low cost DIY Basic instructions.
Generator sets with fuel savers built in from factory ; Generate power for 50 – 100 houses uses very little fuel. Power small industries and factories. No more power cuts, each community generate and sell their own power with low fuel requirements. No need for massive power stations.
HYDROELECTRIC SYSTEMS
If you have a strong stream or waterfall close by you can generate electricity
WATER PUMPS
Simple DIY pumps to lift water from 10 meter below the surface. Human, solar or wind powered
Use water to start small Communal vegetable gardens for women to grow food to feed families and sell as income.
RAIN WATER HARVESTING
Tanks filters and sterilisation systems to use rain or river water whole year long. Africa has a lot of untapped water resources that can be utilised with basic technology.
STAGE 2
SKILL TRANSFER TEACHING AND EDUCATION
We are willing to provide information and know how for free on how to use natural resources, alternative energy and basic technology to provide energy for Africa.
Schools, colleges and training centres should have this knowledge as part of every curriculum. Many jobs can be created and the projects will be sustainable as the people know how to use and look after the technology and resources.
STAGE 3
WIRELESS INTERNET / PHONES
Once you have electric lights, you need internet in community centres, this is done wirelessly over great distances, NO COPPER wires, SOLAR POWERED. Using battery driven Computers people can access the Internet. Internet Phones can be added. LOW COST DIY user installation. Base stations and links done professionally. Telcos and Government support needed for basic infrastructure.
STAGE 3
ONLINE TRAINING COURSES / FREE TRAINING MATERIALS
Once you have internet in the village centres, you have the resources to start training people. Run technical courses in development of skills for everyone, teach, help and educate. Teach entrepreneurial skills to those interested and get them to run make a business of making or maintaining the systems for the community. Once they know a bit they can be taught more, provide centralised specialist training in key areas. Etc etc. People have to know enough to protect the systems that benefit them and improve their lives. Children can spread the word very fast.
FUNDING
All the work and the developments have been self funded over several years, we need to channel resources from governments or welfare organisations and the countries that pretend that they are helping into making products and teaching skills without the money ending up in the pockets of a select few. Loans for Africa have to be provided at reasonable interest rates, micro financing can be supported better, provide funds to start up small business and help entrepreneurs.
Use Carbon offset funding to fund renewable and alternative energy projects in a unified approach provide solutions for Africa not just for one country at a time. Making sure the money is not syphoned off or gets lost. Use Africans living abroad to spread the word and campaign collectively for funding. Provide incentives to make their efforts worthwhile.
TOURISM
Once you have basic infrastructure in place at all the places of interest, we can help provide low cost fast build energy effective construction methods to build simple but nice tourist accommodation. Power and heat facilities using basic technology, no external power needed. Find ways to get people to nature reserves, waterfalls, rivers etc and let the community sell fresh produce and meat curios and local ideas to the tourists so that all the people in the area will benefit. Invite wealthy companies who need carbon offsets to view projects, and invest in a substantial way in terms of funds, projects, know how, equipment or complete turnkey renewable energy projects by managing a collective front. There are billions of dollars that can legitimately be invested in Africa.
SUMMARY
1) Get basic technology into Africa by working together,
2) Pump Water for crops, and then clean some for drinking
3) Use effective battery solutions to power lights, pumps fans, Radios, TVs and computers using whatever resources are available in your area. EDUCATE!
4) Provide Low cost wireless internet to community centres and then internet cafes. Teach and EDUCATE!
5) Make projects work and invite others to see and join in to do more and more. Get them to invest their resources in Africa for their benefit Learn and educate and get the big talkers involved by putting their money where their mouths are.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
HOW?
Only by getting people basic knowledge and basic tools that can be maintained and sustained can effective development be started and made to grow and snowball all over the continent.
Africa is rich in so many resources which no one has been able to harness and unite for collective good of all, with the technology solutions available now, for the first time this goal can be achieved by a small group of people working together as Africans, and make the world sit up and notice.
Starting at the roots and maintaining the basic systems will enable people to be educated, become self sufficient, study more, become entrepreneurs and innovators who can drive the economies of Africa and harness the resources already available under African control and not just giving it away for free or having it stolen as in the past.
Whoever wants to wake up and join the African technology revolution please let me know.
Best regards
