The Japheth Agribusiness Greenhouse Project for Production of Tomatoes in Kitui County, Eastern Province in Kenya.

The Japheth Greenhouse Project is a profit making business venture that will specialize in Tomatoes Production in large scale for the Kenyan Market. It will be located in the Semi- Arid area of Kitui West Constituency, in Kitui County, Eastern Province of Kenya.
According to statistics, the area's poverty rate is 63%, but the project is aimed at promoting and improving the living conditions of the residents, offering business and employment opportunities.

To realize this project, the capital of this pilot project is projected to be at Ksh. 1.4 Million. The output is expected to be at 7,000 Kilogrammes to earn the business a revenue of Ksh. 280, 000. The statements financial position and the Comprehensive income Statement of the business will be determined after six months, for the first phase.
The Vision of the business is to become the leading greenhouse producer in fruit and vegetables production in the Kitui County. This is because the area has a potential of large scale production of fruits and vegetables with the right and innovative resources.
This is a new concept in the area, as it will provide an opportunity for youth and individuals in the region an opportunity for employment and earn money for their families; this will enable them keep away from drugs and idleness by engaging in productive activities. It will also enhance the eradication of poverty, provide food security and improve the lives of families in the region.
The market recipients of this business includes; institutions such as schools, hospitals; supermarkets; households and local and regional business premises.
