Esther Hicks, Assoc. Supt for the Archdiocese of Chicago has created a "reverse mission" project with the Diocese of Nssuka, Nigeria. Over the past several years, a committee of interest has been formed and several exchange visits have taken place.
"Reverse Mission" education is taking place in Chicago Catholic schools in preparation for exchange visits and the development of schools in Nigeria. Local Nssuka leaders are involved an assessment of needs process and the articulation of school development strategies and an implementation timeline.
